Since 2007 OrACRAO has coordinated Oregon Transfer Days (OTD), an event intended to connect community college students with information about, and recruiters from, 4-year institutions from around Oregon and the region.  Formerly known as the Community College Tour, this event was loosely organized by the individual institutions.  Coordinating the event has allowed us to streamline the calendar, centralize the registration and marketing, standardize the format to make participation easier for 4-year institutions, and encourage greater participations by students.

2025 Oregon Transfer Days Calendar

Mission

The mission of Oregon Transfer Days (OTD) is to promote transfer of Oregon community college students to public and private four-year colleges and universities within the state. The events are also open to participation by non-Oregon four-year institutions (as space allows).

Institutional Participation

Attendance at OTD events is limited to accredited educational institutions that meet OrACRAO’s institutional and associate member criteria (Constitution Article 3, Section 1, Subsections A & B) to best support the mission of OTD as an Oregon-focused transfer event. In addition, attendance is limited to individual institutions (four-year public and private colleges and universities) representing themselves. We reserve the right to include participation of other organizations in exceptional circumstances.

We do know that being connected with multiple educational opportunities is an extremely important resource for students. The OTD Task Force would encourage organizations that do not meet the eligibility criteria to communicate with the community college contacts and arrange participation for individual visits or other non-OTD events.
